Aloha Lynn McClaskey Obituary
Aloha Lynn Smith McClaskey went to be with her Heavenly Father June 5, 2024.
Aloha Lynn was born April 15, 1984 in Nampa, Canyon County, Idaho to Floyd Arrington Smith and Jeanie Marie Reilly Smith. She grew up in the Boise, Meridian area, attending Borah High School and graduating from Meridian High School.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and especially enjoyed Relief Society.
In May of 2007, Aloha Lynn received her Cosmetologist License, passing with a 99% on her State of Idaho examination, while living in Pocatello, Idaho. She became certified in several other areas, even as a fork lift driver.
Being in gymnastics and martial arts while growing up helped her stay physically fit. She especially enjoyed being in the mountains of Cascade from the time she was a toddler. The last few years she dealt with much physical pain from fibro myalgia.
Aloha Lynn is survived by her children, Bryton Dorsey, Braden Dorsey, Mariah Jeanie Lund, Grace Aloha Lund Woodhouse, Rose Jamie Woodhouse, and Jordan David Woodhouse; mother, Jeanie Marie Kohntopp; step-father, Larry Leroy Kohntopp; father Floyd Arrington Smith; and siblings, Ryan Lester Davis, Felicia Marie Lopez and Shayne Lynden Smith; two grandchildren; much family across the pond; and ex-husband, David Jaime Woodhouse.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton McClaskey.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at the Idaho Falls 32nd Ward Chapel, 651 Gladstone. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Burial will be at the Filer Cemetery in Filer, Idaho.
