He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Henry and Marion Edna Anton Fanning; his grandson Caleb Bryan Johnson; and his brother Albert Henry "Buddy" Fanning Jr.. He is survived by: his spouse Susan Evans; his children, Julie Allison Miller (Jacob) of Blackfoot, Gillian Suzanne Cook (Andrew C.) of Blackfoot and Rebekah Leigh Fanning of Blackfoot; and his brother Roger Brian Fanning (Kathy Wright) of Seattle, Washington.
