He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Spaltro and Cecile Spaltro; and his siblings, Carole Spaltro and Julius Spaltro. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Law Spaltro; his sons, Jason (Sarah) of Culver City, CA and Chad of Midvale, ID; his stepdaughter Kim Doughty (Rick) of Phelan, CA; his grandchildren, Destinee, Dylan Gannuscio of Riverside, CA, Hailey Spaltro, Arianna Spaltro of Meridian, ID, Sophia and Marcus Spaltro of Culver City, CA; his sisters, Claire Panagakos of Portland, ME and Mary Lou (Howard Bagley) of Portland, ME; his uncle Lindsey Spaltro; and his pet Chloe. He is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews and many cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in George's name to the American Cancer Society.
