She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Rice and Bessie Rice (Rankin); and her brother Dick Rice. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth DeWitt (Becky), Mary Louise Brown (Elden) and Marjorie Ann Smith (Scott); her grandchildren, Emily Voorhees (Aaron), Megan Marshall (Dylan), Allison Marshall Inouye, Ben Marshall (Sam), Melissa Proctor (Chris), Jocelyn Capetillo (Adam), Katie Reinstra (Ryan), Riley Brown (Heidi), Nol Kanoa Gordon and Tobin Gordon; and her husband John Richard "Dick". She is also survived by four children, ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
