He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Christopher Columbus Covington and Eunice Freeman; his wife Valeta; his children, Eric Covington, Jonathan Covington (Lara), Whitney Sutton (Steve), Jacques Miranda, Leigh Cascioli (Rob) and Brent Covington; and his siblings, Ted Spradling, Stella Davis, Perry Covington, Jerry Covington and Shirley Covington. He was also cherished by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated to cover memorial service costs and other unexpected expenses.
