She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcel Tocaben and Mary Farrell Tocaben; her siblings, Lillian Monaghan (Jack), Howard Tocaben (Loretta) and Robert Tocaben; her son Gordon Howes; and her friend Evelyn Hayes.
She is survived by: her children, Alene, Francine Ames Rudeen (Kent), Steven Ames (Laurie Jennings), Forrest Ames, Gary Howes (Sharon) and Terry Howes (Charlotte); her daughter-in-law Lonita Howes; and also Royd Thompson. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
