He is survived by: his former wife Susan Brown; his children, Chris Sauer (Suzi), Travis Sauer, John Sauer (Kenzie) and Bridget Meneses (Ulises); his brothers, Sam Sauer (Helen) and Tim Sauer; his son Shane Surber; his stepson Jessy; and his pet Smokey. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces.
