He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Hollifield and Clarence Hollifield; and his grandparents, Bill, Anna Hollifield, Oakley and Sarah Barnard.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Kenzi Baggett, Alexander Rasmussen, Anthony Rasmussen, Sophia Rasmussen, Taylor Deitzel and Treston Deitzel; his wife Karla; his children, Paige Hollifield, Stefani "Stevie" Kitley (Andy), Meghan Kitley and Jason Kitley; and his siblings, Terry Hollifield (Carol) and Nancy Taylor (Kent).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be sent to the William R. Hollifield Memorial Fund in care of the Twin Falls Public Library Foundation at 201 Fourth Avenue East, Twin Falls, ID 83301.
