We are sad to announce that on August 13, 2022, at the age of 84, Afton Richards Van Tassell (Burley, Idaho), born in Coalville, Utah passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Ashton Richards and Ida Naoma Laney Richards; her husband Gail; her daughter Keri Jo; and her siblings, Sterling, Arnold and Carol.
She is survived by: her children, Debby Carpenter (Kirk) of Burley, Cory Van Tassell (Marla) of Jerome, Perry Van Tassell (Gina) of Hidden Valley, Sharlynn Van Tassell of Meridian, Marty Van Tassell (Tonya) of Paul, Christie May (Brian) of Kaysville and Lisa Smith (Dan) of Oakley; and her sisters, Raona Hall of Yuba City, Calif, Ruth Baham of Kaysville and Glenda Excell of Preston. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
