He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Mary Fehringer; his parents, Victor Fehringer and Barbara Fehringer (Weiser); his siblings, David, Linus, Robert Fehringer and Viola Hartley (Fehringer); his wife JoAnn Fehringer (Frank); his children, Rosalie Harrison (Jeff) of Parker, Vincent Fehringer (Tina) of American Falls, Tony Fehringer of American Falls, Charlene Fehringer of Pocatello, Roberta Smith (John) of Big Timber and Karen Hickerson (Keith) of Boise; and his siblings, Isabell Volden (Pete) of North Platt, Leonard Fehringer (Harriet) of Aurora, Anna May Curtis of Sterling, Paul Fehringer (Peggy) of Peetz and Mary Lou DeWeese (Bob) of Dolores, Colorado.. He was also cherished by his eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Melvin found his peace after living with Parkinson's over the last several years.
