He was predeceased by: his parents, Farold J. Nelson and Lela Mae Taysom Nelson; and his siblings, Jolene, Farold Ray (Buster), Richard Glen and Jodie Leon.
He is survived by: his wife Gretchen Anne McLaughlin; his children, Sallye Deanne of Simpsonville, SC, Nancye Leigh LaFay (Jacques) of New Meadows, ID, Susan Kathleen Stanley (Tim) of Kuna, ID, Matthew Dean (Holly) of Las Vegas, NV, Benjamin Scott (Crystal) of Pocatello, ID and Jarrod Blake (Paula) of American Falls, ID.; and his siblings, Gene Nelson and Shelda Richardson of Renton, WA. He is also survived by his children; 11 grandchildren.
