He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Wells (Snyder) of Clarinda, IA; his sister Karen Michel of Northboro, IA; his brothers-in-law, Frank Snyder of Clarinda, IA and Dale Snyder; his children, Kathryn Wells (Kathy) of Clarinda, IA and Rodney Wells (Elva) of Sioux Center, IA.; his grandchildren, Melissa Crooks (Adam) of Clarinda, IA, Rachel Cabeen (Michael) of Yorktown, IA, Michael Wells of Shenandoah, IA and Andrew Smith (Stacey) of Braddyville, IA.; and his great grandchildren, Gage Crooks, Lilly Smith, Jazmine Crooks, Macen Smith, Mark Cabeen, Kaytryn Cabeen (Kayty) and Archer Smith.
Roger and Evelyn were married for 62 years and only apart during 6 months in 2020 due to the covid virus, which was very hard for both of them.
