We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2020, at the age of 94, Betty Petersen of Wyoming, Iowa, born in Mechanicsville, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Petersen to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest F Peck and Hattie Jurgensen Peck; her husband Elmer Petersen (Tug); her son Thomas Petersen; her brother Donald Peck; her sons-in-law, Gary Yockey and Konrad Kail; and her grandson Terry Yockey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Yockey of Spirit Lake, Jane Kail of Phoenix, AZ and Nancy Collins (Scott) of Wyoming; her grandsons, Gerald Christopher Yockey (Amy) and Adam Collins (Lisa); her stepchildren, Ranae Orrico (Larry), Rhonda Anderson (Scott), Jessica Brost (Matt) and Blake Hopkins (Kim); and her great grandchildren, Nathan, Hannah Yockey, Jayson, Hadley and Harvey Collins.
Masks are required for those attending and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
Memorials may be directed to Zion American Lutheran Church or the Wyoming Cemetery in her honor.
