She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Powell and Florence Powell (Roden); and her husband Gene Benson. She is survived by: her children, Julie (Bill Wegner) of Elkhorn, Philip Benson (Erika) of Logan, Beth (Bryce Kelderman) of Tracy and Kathy (Greg Snodgrass) of Logan, Iowa; and her siblings, Donnie Powell (Janelle) of Logan, Jean (Ronald Koenig) of Logan and Mary Alice McCain Coyle of Omaha. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Logan Fire and Rescue.
