It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Hopphan (Wilton, Iowa), born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on April 5, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hopphan and Valeria K. Hopphan (Riessen); and his nephew Andrew Hopphan. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jansen; his daughters, Jennifer Klerk (Ron) of Reus and Katie Paul (Justin) of Wilton; his grandchildren, Gracey, Dawsyn Froman and Bode Paul; his close friend Karla Howard of Wilton; his brother Jim Hopphan (Betty) of Dallas, Texas; his nephew Brian Hopphan; and also, Lindsey Ramos (Carlos), Courtney Howard and Nicky.
Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
