He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harris Brown and Charlotte Robison Brown; his adoptive father Edward Brown; his former wife Marilyn MacCanon Brown; his children, Joel Brown (Lori), Ben Brown (Maria) of Wilton and Hannah Reid (Jeff) of Moscow; his grandchildren, Justin, Abby, Colby, Gavin and Casen; his brothers, James Brown (Connie) and John Brown (Kim) of Wilton; and his aunt Roberta Jewell. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was a member of various community organizations and served as president of Wilton Community Foundation board of directors.
