She was predeceased by: her parents, Will R. Gibbs and Grace Gibbs (Couchman); her spouse Melvin H. Witte of Williamsburg; and her son Steven. She is survived by: her son Tom Witte (Sue) of Williamsburg; and her grandchildren, Annie, Mitch, Seth and Luke.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be directed toward Safe Haven of Iowa County.
