It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Lorene Mary Wigginton of West Burlington, Iowa, born in Fairfield, Iowa, who passed away on December 27, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Kessel and Magdalene Kessel (Kaska); her husband William "Sonny" Wigginton; and her sister Darlene Meth. She is survived by: her former husband Marvin Crable; her children, Karen Thola (Lloyd) of Carthage, Chris Crable (Pam) of West Burlington and Jerry Crable (Jacque) of Burlington; her stepchildren, Richard Wigginton (Debbie) of Indiana, Donna Banks (Troy) of Oklahoma, Michael Wigginton (Vickie) of Illinois and LeAnn Dickenson (Joel) of Oklahoma; and her siblings-in-law, Doris Meece of Indiana and Jesse Wigginton (Glenda) of Arkansas. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
