She was predeceased by: her parents, Burnis Rhoad and Fern Rhoad (Merritt); her husband DaWayne Fortune; her siblings, Clyde Rhoad and Betty Rhoad; her grandson Clint Olson; and her brother-in-law Derl Totten.

She is survived by: her children, Rita Sogard (Brian), Wanda Olson and Wade Fortune (Tricia); and her siblings, Mildred Bass, Martha Totten, Lucille Loeffler (Gene) and Ray Rhoad (Caroline). She is also survived by six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
