He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Mae Caquelin; his son-in-law Bob Sutherland; and his siblings, Verl Luppes, Orville Luppes, Kenneth Luppes, Iona Hoversten, LaVonne Hanson and Lois Nixon.
He is survived by: his daughter Laurie Sutherland of Blairsburg; his granddaughters, Sheri Olson (Scott) of Blairsburg and Julie Brandel (Luke) of Blairsburg; his great grandchildren, Charlee, Jax Olson, Kylee Olson, Knox and Alyx Brandel; and his sister Aretta Muxfeldt of Webster City. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
