She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Brandrup and Eleanor Brandrup (Brock); her husband Denny F. Rouse; and her sister Joyce Burger (Harold). She is survived by: her children, Curtis Rouse (Jodi) of Spirit Lake, Denise Waldron (Michael), Lori Kruse (Kevin) and Garret Rouse (Carol) of Des Moines; her grandchildren, Nathan Rouse (Brandy) of Red Oak, Jordan Rouse (Rachel) of Waterloo, Joel Kruse (Jennifer) of Overland Park, KS, Benjamin Kruse of Carrboro, NC, Lauren Rouse of Des Moines and Dylan Rouse of Des Moines; her great grandchildren, Jacob, Paisley and Maverick; and her siblings-in-law, Max Rouse (Coletta) of Curlew, David Rouse (Ruth) of Emmetsburg, Virginia Tate (Carlos) of Worthington, MN, Julie Egland (Roger) of Storm Lake and Janet Finnegan of Storm Lake. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left in Betty's honor to Asbury United Methodist Church, American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
