She is survived by: her mother Mary Ellen Dawson (DuVall) of Washington; her children, Cameron Kleinschmidt of Oskaloosa, Courtney Kleinschmidt-Christian (Patrick) of Oskaloosa and Chloe Kleinschmidt (Precious Paye) of Oskaloosa; and her sister Sue Ellen Hegstrom of Gaithersburg.

A memorial fund has been established for Paws and More to support the dog park.
