We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2023, at the age of 93, Lauren J. Fisher Sr. of Wapello, Iowa, born in Muscatine, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Fisher and Laura Fisher (James); his grandchild Cochise Call; his stepson Michael Murphy; his stepgreat-grandson Jackson Gipe; and his siblings, Marilyn Rost and Lyndon Fisher.
He is survived by: his wife Jane of Wapello; his children, Laurie Marshall (Rory) of Wilton, Linda Silva (John) of Muscatine, Bruce Fisher of Muscatine and Lauren Fisher, Jr. of Muscatine; his stepchildren, Susan Van Pelt (John) of Burlington and Patrick Murphy (Gladys) of Wapello; and his stepdaughter-in-law Debbie Murphy. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; ten step-great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and three step great-great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in Laruen's name.
