It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sheldon Olson (Walford, Iowa), born in Elkader, Iowa, who passed away on July 30, 2018, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Helen Wagner of St. Olaf, Donna Foels (Ron) of Elkader and Paul Olson (Gloria) of Elkader; his wife Betty; and his parents, Millard Olson and Ona Olson (Christensen).
He is survived by: his son Bradley Olson (LeeAnn) of Walford; and his granddaughters, Ashley Olson of Cedar Rapids and Tasha Schmidt (Logan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Camp Courageous and Linn County Humane Society.
