It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin Wayne Bro (Toledo, Iowa), born in Exira, Iowa, who passed away on May 4, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Niels Bro and Laura Bro (Bork); his children, Marcia Bartelt and Nathan Christian; and his granddaughter Cindi Hall.
He is survived by: his spouse Ora Mae of Toledo; his children, Jill (Tony) of Laubenfels, Erin Bro (Mark Pennell) of Marshalltown, Matt Bro (Deb) of Gilbert, AZ, Paula Lober (Todd) of Gilbert, AZ and Brett Bro (Brenda) of Toledo; his son-in-law Paul Bartelt of Forest City; and his brother Ronald Bro (Mary) of Cedar Falls. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren.
