He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Damon and Fern Damon (Woodward); and his siblings, Irene, Midge, Marilynn, Deloris, Ralph, George, John, Robert and Paul.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Beckner; his children, Kathi Abkes (Alan) of Cedar Falls and Kenneth Damon (Carole) of Eldora; his grandchildren, Jennifer Niedert (Jason), Gordon Abkes (Cassidy), Shaunna Johannes (Christopher), Virginia Liesinger (Lee), Clint Damon (Brittany Fogt) and Claire Damon; and his brother Aaron Damon (Denise) of Pekin, IL. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
