With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth E. Grom of Sioux Center, Iowa, born in Scotch Grove, Iowa, who passed away on January 9, 2022 at the age of 98. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Clark and Ella Clark (Lumas); her husband Donald Grom; her sons, Howard and Gary Grom; her sister Alice Nylor; and her grandchildren, Sonya and Jerimiah Grom.

She is survived by: her son Philip Grom (Diane) of Alvord, IA; and her sister-in-law Betty Hyde of Guttenberg, IA. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren.
