He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David Broek and Cornelia Broek (Vande Garde); his wife Linda Hoekstra; his children, Jill Vander Windt (Mike), Dani Gradert (Gerad) and Mike Broek (Angie); his grandchildren, Josh Vander Windt, Cainen Vander Windt (Jess), Kennedy Foley (Alex), Jackson Vander Windt, Cade Broek (Jordyn), Carter Broek, Hannah Broek, Cohen Broek, Alex Gradert, Mitchell Gradert, Clayton Gradert, Elijah Vander Windt, Harrison Foley and Vander Windt; his brother Darwin Broek (Evanette); his siblings-in-law, Marlene Broek, Lorna Koedam (Gary), Larry Hoekstra (Terry) and Lee Hoekstra (Joann); his parents-in-law, Harold and Bertha Hoekstra; his brother Jay Broek; and his great grandchild Bennett Vander Windt.
