He was predeceased by: his parents, Teunis Visser and Elizabeth Visser (Akkerhuis); his son Gregory; and his siblings, William Visser (Theresa), Gilbert Visser (Caroline), Gerrit Visser (Katherine), John J Visser (Gertrude) and Adrianna Kots (George).
He is survived by: his wife Muriel Visser of Sioux Center, IA; and his children, Stan Visser (Sharon Tolsma) of Rock Valley, IA, Ruth Scot Pitcairin (Visser) of Gilbert, AZ, Dean Visser (Roxanne Lee) of Chandler, AZ and Melissa Cox (Visser) of Sioux Center, IA. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers family wish memorials to be directed to Sioux Center Christian School or Western Christian High School.
