It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marian Kathryn Kroon of Sioux Center, Iowa, who passed away on December 13, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Meendering and Jesse Meendering (Kooima); her siblings, Fanny Deboer (Louis), Janice Meendering, Jeannetta Meendering and Jake Meendering (Jan); and her siblings-in-law, Thomas De Groot, Robert Hall, Fred Mulder, Arvin Kroon and Kathy Kroon.
She is survived by: her husband Henry Kroon of Sioux Center, Iowa; her child Karlowe (Jean) of Virginia; her grandchildren, Jeremy Kroon (Lydia) of South Dakota, Matthew and Jennifer Kroon (Elijah) of Virginia; her daughters, Lisa L. Kroon of Iowa and Karen Rens (Scott) of Sioux Center; her grandchildren, Emily (Kyle) of Nebraska, Alexander Rens of Iowa and Samuel Rens of Iowa; her sisters, Gert De Groot of Iowa, Jo Mulder of Minnesota, Alberta Hall of California and Ruth Hollander (Ralph) of Arizona; and her parents-in-law, Veryl Kroon (Barb) of Florida, Lyle Kroon of South Dakota and Phyllis VanderWel (Dave) of Iowa. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to current concerns with Covid and Governors mandate, social distancing and mask protocol will be observed.
