It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John William Cleveringa of Sioux Center, Iowa, who passed away on December 31, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred F. Cleveringa and Fannie Cleveringa (Schutt); his siblings, Frederick Cleveringa, Nelson Cleveringa (Theresa), Tunis Cleveringa (Ila), Wilma Kraayenbrink (Harry) and Margaret Erickson; and his brother-in-law Raymond Morris.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Cleveringa; his son Steve Cleveringa (Jana) of Sioux City, IA; his grandsons, Tyson (Rebekah), Austin (Emily) and Alex (Morgan); his son Mark Cleveringa (Darcy) of Cedar Bluffs, NE; his grandchildren, Courtney, Jake and Josie; his siblings, Garold Cleveringa (Chris) and Fran Vollink (Denny); and his siblings-in-law, Lee Erickson and Doris Harmon (Paul). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family.
