He is survived by: his children, Joel (Lori Bomgaars), Wanda (Mike Harmsen) and Calvin (Connie Bomgaars); his grandchildren, J. D. Bomgaars (Alana), Nicole Bomgaars, Micah Harmsen (Heather Humble), Nathan Harmsen (Erica), Daniel Harmsen (Kristine), Jonathan Harmsen (Gracia), Jared Bomgaars (Brittany), Molly Bomgaars (Dave Cleveringa) and Ashley Ogle; his great grandchildren, Hanna, Madison, Michaela, Rope, Colby, Caydence, Kya, Laramie, Dakota, Ezra, Ruby, Rylee and Jacob; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Bomgaars of Sioux Center.
