With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Van Gorp of Sioux Center, Iowa, who passed away on December 28, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by:, Edward, Gertrude Van Gorp, Russell Van Gorp (Mildred), Lloyd Van Gorp (Hendrene), Howard Van Gorp (Frances) and Peter Bos.
She is survived by: her husband Perry J. Van Gorp of Sioux Center; her children, Dr. Barbara Van Gorp of Iowa City, Karen (Darryl) and Steven Van Gorp (Kari Edenholm) of Plattsmouth, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Sabrina Van Gorp, Derek and Katelyn; her siblings, Helen (Peter Pals), Harlan (Diane Kleinhesselink), Larry (Patti Kleinhesselink) and Norma (Kevin Ward); and her siblings-in-law, Donald (Alvina Van Gorp) of Montevideo, Minnesota and Esther Bos of Orange City. She is also survived by friend.
Memorials are encouraged and will be given to Samaritan's Purse.
