He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Dibbet and Sophia Dibbet (Van Ravenswaay); his son Rodney; and his siblings, John, Richard, Alice (Van Voorst), Gertrude (Draayer) and Joan (Maassen).
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Gloria Teunissen (Gary); his daughters, Darla Lais (Dan) and Julie Van Zweden (Ralph); his sister Arlene Hoogendoorn; and his sister-in-law Henrietta "Girlie" Dibbet. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers the Dibbet Family prefers memorials be directed to the Netherlands Reformed Christian School.
