He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond DeBey and Dena DeBey (Wolfswinkel); his daughter Briana Erickson; and his brother-in-law Robert Nyhuis. He is survived by: his spouse Jean (Mulder); his daughter Whitney DeBey of Tiffin, IA; his son-in-law Erick Erickson; his sons, Alex, Kael and Oliver Erickson; and his siblings, Betty Vande Griend (Dave) of Hull, IA, Janice Nyhuis of Sioux Center, IA, Roger DeBey (Lisa) of Rock Rapids, IA and Darrell DeBey (Crystal) of Buffalo, NY. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Masks and social distancing is suggested.
In lieu of flowers, family prefer memorials which will be directed to the New Life Treatment Center.
