He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Reverend Norman Haan and Joyce Haan (Meyners); his wife Cheryl Haan of Sioux Center, IA; his son Eric Haan (Amy) of Luverne, MN; his grandchildren, Brooklyn, Blake and Olivia; his children, Paula Hilbelink (Craig) of Orange City, IA and David Haan (Paige) of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Tyler, Jenna, Jessa and Luke; his siblings, Norma Voss of Mesa, AZ, Rich Haan (Marsha) of Grand Rapids, MI, Tom Haan (Marilyn) of Longview, WA, Brenda Greenfield (Kevin) of Waupun, WI and Kevin Haan (Angela) of Waupun, WI; his son Peter John Haan; and the parents of child, Norm and Joyce Haan. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorials directed to Dordt University in Sioux Center, IA.
