He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Goemaat and Irene Goemaat (Van Haaften); his wife Marian Goemaat (Davis); his son C. Russell; his great grandchild Alexis Powell; and his siblings, Abe Goemaat, Johanna Hittle, Henry Goemaat and Abbie Goemaat.
He is survived by: his children, Shirley (Don Gilmore), Sharon (Duane Johnson), Ralph (Daletha Goemaat) and Lowell (Christina Goemaat); his daughter-in-law Ruth Ann Goemaat of Queen Creek, AZ; and his sister Marie Breese of Independence, MO.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; two great greatgrandchildren.
