Margie Dahlgran Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margie Dahlgran of Shenandoah, Iowa, who passed away on June 17, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick I. Hoppe and Emma V. Hoppe (Outhet); her husband Harold; her son Roger L. Merritt; her grandsons, Christopher Merritt, Andrew Parker and Aaron Merritt; her daughter-in-law Yolanda Merritt; her stepson-in-law Hugh Berry; and her siblings, Fred Hoppe and Marie Powell.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Merritt (Carol), Kerry Merritt, Vona Parker (Robert) and Robert Merritt (Linda); her stepchildren, Carolyn Berry, Edwin Dahlgran (Jane), Roger Dahlgran (Janice), James Dahlgran (Dava), Elizabeth Baldwin (Marvin) and William Dahlgran (Tina); and her brother Edin Hoppe. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are kindly suggested to the First Presbyterian Church.
