She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Peterson and Alma Peterson of Shenandoah, Iowa.; her brother Donald Peterson; her husband Charlie Bateman of Farragut; her son Bill Bateman; and her granddaughters, Faith, Belle and Reese.
She is survived by: her brother Reynold Peterson of Madison, Wisconsin; her children, Jim (Susan Bateman), Kelley (Dave Witmer) of Lawrence, Joe (Christina) of Atlantic and Karen (Scott Reddig) of Great Bend; her grandchildren, Tim, Mike, Nick, Brad, Andy, Sam, Joey, Max, Noah, Jace, Tegan, Taylor, Kelsey and Ashley; and her nieces and nephews, Nancy, Dan, David and Kristen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been designated to the American Heart Association and American Cancer Society, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS 67530.
