It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alberta Bogema of Shenandoah, Iowa, who passed away on May 31, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Eckert and Lena Eckert; her husband Harvey Bogema; her brothers, Walter, Vernon, Virgil and Irvin Eckert; and her grandson Robert Dirks.
She is survived by: her daughter Colleen Porter (Paul); her grandchildren, Gregory Boldt (RoxAnne), Elliott, Rhonda Eis (Tom), Krista, Caitlin, Alan Boldt, Kathryn, Emmett, Loraine Mace (Leo), Lori Wilken, Cory Wilken (Becca), Nicole, Kobie, Robin Rader (Traid), Chad Wilken, Peyton, Lukas, Carolyn Morrison (Mel), Angela Moss (Brian), Claryssa, Brodi and Sherry Finchum; her great grandchildren, Kayla Hatch, Katlyn Mittan and Dylan Chesson; and her great great grandchildren, Miah, Lily and Ryker Hatch.
