She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernie Heukelom and Effie Van Heukelom (Moss); her husband Kenneth Vander Velde; her sister Ruth Van Maanen (John); and her sisters-in-law, Eunice Kroese (Don) and Glenice Lamkin (Wayne).
She is survived by: her children, Keith Vander Velde (Chris) of Oxford, WI, Nadeen Hill (Terry) of Sanborn, IA, Faye Anema (Fred) of Sanborn, IA and Marlin Vander Velde (Linda) of Sanborn, IA; and also Eunice (Don Kroese). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
