He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Hohbach and Bertha Hohbach (Schroeder); and his siblings, Floyd Hohbach, Lorraine (Ervan Jahn), Adalene (Merlynn Callenius) and Delores Cave.
He is survived by: his wife Corrine Hohbach of Sanborn, Iowa; his children, Cheryl Sjaarda (Marlin) of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Linda Pheiffer (Tim) of St Louis, Missouri, Michael Hohbach (Michelle) of Paullina, Iowa and Susan Walker (Kevin) of Blowing Rock; his grandchildren, Chad Sjaarda (Lindsey), Eric Sjaarda (Andrea), Grant Sjaarda, Maggie Farokhian (Reza), Max Holter (Lia), Lesha Woodford, Shonna Keogh (John), Nichole Jacobs (Daniel), Jacob Walker and Michael Walker; his great grandchildren, Oliver, Greta Sjaarda, Alannah, Taylor Sjaarda, Ella, James Holter, Anna Van Reisen, Emercyn Woodford, Jack, Sidney Keogh, Kaylee and Brenna Jacobs; his brother Donald (Karen Hohbach) of Crete, Illinois; and his siblings-in-law, Jackie Wersinger of Sheldon and Glenn Cave of Cherokee, Iowa. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Masks are required for the visitation and the church service And social distancing guidelines will be followed.
