He is survived by: his wife Karen Smit; his children, Barbara Bousema (David) of Kansas City, MO, Kenneth Anema (Renee) of DeMotte, IN, Susan Harthoorn (Kevin) of Sanborn, IA, Janet Kooiman (Todd) of Bellingham, WA and Joni Bras (Jonathan) of Lowell, MI.; and his siblings, Kathryn Vaandrager, Paul Anema (Trudy), Thresa Jacobsma (Harlyn), Vernon Anema (Sharlene), Fred Anema (Faye), Robert Anema (Marsha), James Anema (Jane), Marvin Anema (Carol), Jeffrey Anema (Deb), Sandra Ferrie (Patrick), Darlene Van Ee (Jan) and Ron Smit (Twyla). He is also survived by brothers-in-law and friends.
