She was predeceased by: her son Calvin Kiel; her children-in-law, Betty Kiel and Bob Mathison; her grandchildren, Christine Hoogland and Curtis Hoogland; and her great grandchild Kaeden Pluim.
She is survived by: her parents, Jake Granstra and Grace Granstra (Hulstein); her spouse William Kiel; and her son Arlin Kiel of Spirit Lake.
