He was predeceased by: his parents, Noel Schoo and Lavina E. Schoo (Lonneman); his sons, Jeremy and Jason Schoo; his sister Janet Iedema; and his niece Krystal Schoo.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Carlson; his son Jeff of Parkville, Missouri; his siblings, Kathryn DeGroot (Douglas) of George, IA, Donna Williams (Michael) of Spirit Lake, IA, Diane Poss (Joe) of Rochester, MN, Robert Schoo (Kristil) of Ashton, IA and Gerald Schoo (Val) of George, IA; and his brother-in-law Gary Iedema. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or to the Heart Failure Society of America.
