She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Schneider and Elvie Schneider (Wolf); her husband Pete Buren; and her siblings, Glen Schneider, Kenneth Schneider, Doug Schneider, Evelyn Pietens and Lois Roberts.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol (Harold Nelsen) of Lake Park and Susan (Gerald Leth) of Hartley, Iowa; her family, Gladys and Pete; her grandchildren, Lee Nelsen of Lake Park, Dawn (Doug Goodell) of Lake Park, Lori Leth of Hartley and LeAnn (Donald Reetz) of Milford, Iowa; and her great grandchildren, Connor Pasillas of Hartley, Private Juliana Pasillas of Hartley, Seth Goodell of Lake Park, Nathan Goodell of Lake Park, Elizabeth Reetz of Omaha, Nebraska and Ethan Reetz of Omaha, Nebraska. She is also survived by other relatives and close friends.
