It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher Mennen of Sanborn, Iowa, who passed away on August 6, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Mennen and Teresa Mennen (Harms). He is survived by: his siblings, James Mennen (Joseph Palumbo), Gary Mennen (Lynette Kelsey Mennen), Diane Maresh (John Maresh) and Mary Sue Moore (Stephen Moore); and his nieces and nephews, Amanda Maresh Honey, Payton, Cambell, Ty, Nikole Maresh Roth, Laiken, Noelle, Ashton, Ryder, Vail, Leigh Maresh Roth, Parker, Wesleigh, Rowan, John Maresh Jr., Charlotte, John Ross III, Jeffrey Moore, Dr. Kelly Moore (Joe Konieczny), Lissa Kelsey Lecy, Finley, Auden, Benjamin, Israel and Landon Kelsey (Larissa). He is also survived by other extended family members; and countless friends.
Chris died of respiratory failure expedited by Covid-19 infection.
Memorials may go to the Special Olympics, Ingham Okoboji Lutheran Bible Camp, Village Northwest Unlimited, or a charity of choice.
