She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Hembd and Lena Hembd (Rosenberg); her siblings, Amy Hembd, Esther Todd (Hembd), Marjorie Brockshus (Hembd), Robert, Arnold and Gordon Hembd; her daughter Teri Gruenig; and her grandson Zachary Fredericks.
She is survived by: her former husband Herbert Peters; her husband Orville Taylor; her sons, Steven Peters (Judy) and Robert Taylor; and her grandchildren, Jarrod, Lucas Fredericks, Brandon, Derek Peters, Reese and Claire Taylor. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Corona Virus guidelines, a private family graveside service will take place on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Pleasant View Cemetery near Hartley, IA.
