She was predeceased by: her husband James DeVary; her brother Chuck Behr; her siblings-in-law, Eldon DeVary, Duane DeVary, Virgil DeVary, Pete Arnold, Larry Berneman, Bev Behr and Jo Behr; her son-in-law John Welling; and her nephew Cory Behr.

She is survived by: her children, Mike DeVary (Staci Hodge), Mindy Welling, Danny DeVary (Jayme) and Steve DeVary (Sarah); her grandchildren, Makenzie Welling (Will), Mika Shelangoski (Calvin), Benton Welling (Larissa), Colin DeVary, Caysie DeVary, Liam DeVary, Cian DeVary and Jimmy DeVary; her great grandchildren, Lawson, Waylon, Iza, Lewis, Johnna, Maria, Brixton, Briley and Baizley; her siblings, Rilla Arnold, Lee Behr (Deb), Ronnie Behr, Paul Behr (Suzanne) and Dennis Behr (Jane); and her sisters-in-law, Sue Behr, Barb DeVary, Delores Berneman and Dorothy DeVary. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.

A rosary was held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (305 Elm St E, Rockwell, IA 50469). Visitation was held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
