He was predeceased by: his parents, Marinus Paulsen and Anina Paulsen (Petersen); his parent-in-law Gertrude; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Hummel, Dorothy Stearns, Clarence Rezac Jr., Leonard Swartz, Roger Rochleau and Vincent Hughes.
He is survived by: his spouse Patti Rezac; his children, Justin Rezac Murfreesboro (Stephanie) of Tn, Megan Wedebrand Estherville (Bryan) of Ia, Caitlin Dassel (Ryan Chudecke) of Mn, Jordan and Armstrong; his grandchildren, Evan Wedebrand, Easton Wedebrand, Ian Rezac and Jase Rezac; his siblings, Darlene Swartz, Berdine Paulsen, Mavis Evans (Ralph), Louise Rochleau, Agnes Hughes, Esther Paulsen and James Paulsen (Mary); and his siblings-in-law, Frank Rezac (Carol), Karen Mayberry (Ken) and Mary Rose.
